Milosz Pekala has graduated in percussion from Fryderyk Chopin Music University in Warsaw, where he worked with prof Stanislaw Skoczynski. He has been also studying in percussion department of The Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen with prof Gert Mortensen.
For several years he has taken part in many prestigious concerts, festivals and various artistic projects concerning contemporary music, popular music and ethno as International Festival of Contemporary Music Warsaw Autumn, Crossdrumming Festival- Warsaw, Spring Music Festival – Tel Aviw/Israel, Summer Music festival - Londrina/Brasil. He is cooperating mainly with percussion duo Hob-beats and quartet Kwadrofonik.
He has developed his skills by learning from such artists as: Andrzej Kruk, Gert Mortensen, Marta Klimasara, Emmanuel Sejourne, Jean Geoffroy, Nippy Noya, Ricardo Flores, Gustavo Aquilar. His specialities are: vibraphone, multipercussion set and Latin American instruments.
    He has cooperated with prominent soloists (Marta Klimasara, John Beck, Steven Schick), chamber ensambles (Percurama-Danmark, Warsaw Percussion Group-Poland, Les Percussions Claviers de Lyon-France, International Young Percussion Group-Paris/France) and with orchestras (National Philharmonic Orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia, Polish Radio Orchestra).
In 2004 he won the first prize in II M. Stasiniewicz International Percussion Competition in Warsaw. As the winner he has received also The Prize of President      of Warsaw- Lech Kaczyński. In 2009 as a duo with Magda Kordylasinska he was the finalist of prestigious International Percussion Duo Competition in Luxemburg and also in 2009 he won the first prize in International Percussion Competition in Fermo/Italy in Vibraphone section.
    In 2005 Milosz with his percussion duo started their cooperation with Lutosławski Piano Duo (Emilia Sitarz and Bartlomiej Wasik). In April 2006, as a quartet Kwadrofonik, they received the Grand Prix of TV Polonia, The Prize of President of Warsaw and an audience prize A Round of Applause on the IX New Tradition Festival, and their show - arrangements of polish folk tunes - was warmly welcomed both by an audience, critics and by the jury. In 2007 They also won a Special Prize from European Broadcasting Union EBU and nowadays they perform as a quartet on prestigious festivals and concerts all over the world (Chopin Open -  La Folie Yournee, Warsaw Autumn, Cornegie Hall, Canada, Ireland).
Since 2009 he works as an assistant professor on Chopin Music University in Warsaw and still developing his percussion skills by taking part in festivals and masterclasses.
