He began studying French horn at the age of 18 and graduated with a master's degree from the Academy of Music in Krakow. He continued his education in the USA at the Mannes College of Music in New York City, later at the Juilliard School of Music in New York and finally at the Rice University in Houston, Texas. He began his professional career very early in his college days playing in Capella Cracoviensis, then in Sinfonia Varsovia and the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra. After graduation from scholarship studies, he returned to Poland where he worked for the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Warsaw Philharmonic, Karol Szymanowski Philharmonic in Cracow, cooperating at the same time with numerous Polish ensembles i.a.
“Amadeus” Chamber Orchestra, Sinfonietta Cracovia and foreign ensembles i.a. Danish Chamber Players, Camerata Sweden, Sinfonia Helvetica, Basel Sinfonietta. In 1999 he was nominated the Principal Horn for Krystian Zimerman's Polish Festival Orchestra, with which he toured Europe and the United States with over 40 performances of Chopin's concertos.
After moving back to the USA, he played with the Houston Grand Opera and the Dallas Symphony, Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Houston Symphony. He also cooperated with i.a. Chicago Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony, Saint Louis Symphony, Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic mainly as the first voice in the horn groups of these orchestras.

He is a finalist of rehearsals for the post of the first French horn player in the best world orchestras such as Los Angeles Philharmonic, San Francisco Symphony, Cincinnati Orchestra, Pittsburgh Symphony, Saint Louis Symphony, Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra or Chicago Symphony. He played under such conductors as Michael Tilson Thomas, Lorin Maazel, Christoph Aschenbach, Hans Graf, Semyon Bychkov, Charles Dutuit and Roberto Abbado. His solo and didactic career encompasses recitals, solo concerts and masterclasses taking place in Europe, the USA, South America, China and Japan. He has made numerous solo and orchestral recordings for Polish Radio, taken part in many CD label recordings with Polish and American orchestras and released three solo albums presenting all the concerts of Mozart, transcripts of three of Bach’s Cello Suites and a variety of pieces showing the French horn in sound combinations with other instruments.
